Elf

Buddy the Elf closes out November at Upstairs @ Uptown. Raised at the North Pole, decidedly not an elf, and headed to New York City to find his real dad, Will Ferrell gives the most committed performance of his career in a movie that somehow works for little kids and grown adults at exactly the same time. Jon Favreau made it with real sets, real stop-motion and real heart, which is why it still gets watched every December while a hundred other holiday movies got forgotten. Grab a drink at the bar, bring the family, and sing loud for all to hear. Movie Mondays, full bar, big screen.
