Movie Mondays at Upstairs @ Uptown kicks off November with the rare sequel that outdoes the original. Gomez and Morticia welcome a new baby, Wednesday and Pugsley get shipped off to the world’s most relentlessly cheerful summer camp, and Uncle Fester falls for a nanny with a body count. Joan Cusack is a perfect villain, Christina Ricci’s Thanksgiving pageant speech is still one of the best scenes of the decade, and the whole thing is darker, sharper and funnier than a PG-13 family comedy has any right to be. Full bar, big screen, and a room full of people who know every line.
